LUCAYA, LUCAYA
Port Lucaya gets it name from the gentle tribes of Lucayan people who were
the island¹s original inhabitants before the time of Columbus. The Lucayan
Indians have all disappeared, leaving few reminders of their prehistoric
settlement. But there are still many places on the island that use
the word “Lucaya” in their names. So, when you’re looking for us, remember
that there¹s only one PORT LUCAYA. Look for the word “Port” in
front of the name and you will be on your way to the best The Bahamas has
to offer.
PORT LUCAYA RESORT
